Link2Mobile. Seventeen years ago, the phone functions limited two-way communication.  That is conversational (voice) and many variations of them. The next development, wireless technology more rapidly after the invention of communication technology and data transfer such as SMS.

The growth of mobile phone use is high enough apparently in line with the growth of new features that make people more attracted to the phone, especially after the discovery protocol WAP which allows people to access the Internet via mobile phone. The peak development of cellular marked by the birth of GPRS (general packet radio service) and 3G (third generation), which allows the user mobile device to enjoy multimedia facilities.

Due to rapid advancement of the features offered by GSM manufacturers and mobile operators make people immediately thought, why not e-commerce inserted into the phone?

Like the throw in, that chances are immediately struck by a number of dotcoms and telecom companies that collaborate and synergize to deliver e-commerce with mobile formats (moving), which was later renamed as mobile-commerce alias m-commerce (although it should be noted that not all m-commerce internet based and not all applications can be said miniature of internet wireless). Welcome to this idea is remarkable.

Recently, high mobility should not hinder a person to access information. Someone who was stuck in traffic, or staying away from the office, will be easily able to keep track of investment portfolio or listen stock index fluctuations. However, mobility not only belong of business people, but also housewives, students, teenagers and children alike. Can not be denied again, at a certain level, the phone could not be separated from lifestyles today (m-lifestyles).

In essence, m-commerce is a capable method to "sell and deliver a product that the process is done directly into the hands of consumers, anywhere, via wireless technology" and "put the retail outlets in the hands of consumers - anywhere." M- commerce remove the limitations of distance, borders and walls. It also means that "this is your first time to reach consumers directly, no need to go through his fax machine, desk, his secretary or her mailbox, but directly to your customers, who have been anywhere."

On development, the success of m-commerce applications include order tickets online (e-ticketing), payment machines (vending machine payment), transaction banking, trade (share trading), the address book service (address books), services, directory / catalog (directory services ), news and weather information, traffic information and toll roads, remote monitoring, such as meter reading, job dispatch and alarm management, business messaging (messaging), and customer service.

After that period is exceeded, the use of e-commerce now has reached the use of wireless equipment for online shopping and payment of various products and services.
