Link2Mobile. GREECE - Police closed the biggest download site and arrested six people. The site has 850 000 members and attract 16 million users of illegal.

Acting on complaints from copyright protection agency - Greece (EPOE), police arrest six suspect's house in Athens, Larissa, Pella and Thessaloniki and seized 27 hard disks, five laptops and more than 600 CDs.

Six people arrested is a moderated site and high-ranking members, police said in a statement. Five more people being sought in connection with this case. Interpol has been informed of two other suspects living abroad.

Greece is currently ranked third in Europe in cases of copyright infringement on the back of Bulgaria and Romania.

Film, music and software piracy have caused loss of nearly one billion euros in Greece in the calculation of lost revenue in the last seven years.
